Jim MacMorran wins EMMY

The winning EMMY entry was comprised of three pieces of work as a compilation of individual achievement, rather than a singular video.  The first of these three was a 30 second commercial for Michelin Python wiper blades.  Foley, sound effects and music editing were created along with a 5.1 surround mix for this nationally televised spot.  The 2nd part of the entry was the intro video for the SBA website (Small Business Administration) featuring Mario Armstrong as host. The last piece was a 30 second spot for Avatar Studios, which aired as part of the St Patrick Center’s broadcast of the Sports Trivia Championship of 2010.  The category of entry was “Individual Achievement – Audio”.  This compilation entry showcases MacMorran’s abilities as a sound designer and mixer. All three videos were produced and edited by Avatar Studios staff and their clients.
